NIIGATA RENOVATION

新潟の自然環境を背景に、宿泊空間として再構成しました。空間の核として木製シェルフを設え、
視線を引き込みながら空間のアイデンティティを形成しています。

縦方向に伸びる構成は森を想起させ、
隙間から漏れる光がやわらかな陰影を生み出します。
壁面には土を思わせる左官仕上げを施し、自然と呼応する質感を加えています。ソファはゆとりのある寸法とし、滞在の中で自然の気配を感じながらくつろげる環境を整えています。

English / Set against Niigata’s natural landscape, this space has been reinterpreted as an accommodation environment. At the center of the space, a wooden shelf has been installed to naturally draw the eye while establishing the identity of the interior. Its vertically extending composition evokes the image of a forest, while light filtering through the gaps creates soft layers of shadow. The walls are finished with a plaster texture reminiscent of earth, adding a material quality that resonates with nature. The sofa has been designed with generous proportions, creating a setting where guests can relax comfortably while sensing the presence of nature throughout their stay.

한국어 / 니가타의 자연환경을 배경으로, 이 공간을 숙박 공간으로 재구성했습니다. 공간의 중심에는 목제 셸프를 배치하여, 시선을 자연스럽게 끌어들이는 동시에 공간의 아이덴티티를 형성하고 있습니다. 수직으로 뻗어 있는 구성은 숲을 연상시키며, 사이로 스며드는 빛이 부드러운 음영을 만들어냅니다. 벽면에는 흙을 떠올리게 하는 미장 마감을 적용해, 자연과 호응하는 질감을 더했습니다. 소파는 여유 있는 크기로 계획하여, 머무는 동안 자연의 기운을 느끼며 편안히 쉴 수 있는 환경을 조성했습니다.
